Sift the almond flour in a bowl.
Now add cream to the almond flour.
Crush the fennel seeds and add them to the mix. Whisk the batter until smooth. Make sure there are no lumps. To get the right consistency, add milk to it (if needed).
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
To make the sugar syrup, boil 2 cups of water, then add saffron and cardamom pods to it.
Now add Sugar Free Green. This sugar sweetener remains stable at high temperatures. Bring the mix to boil and allow it to thicken.
To make the Malpuas, heat a pan and brush it with ghee.
Pour the batter on it and let the pancakes cook at medium to low temperature.
Flip them, when pancakes start turning brown.
Let both sides of the pancakes turn brown.
Now bake the pancakes for 6-7 minutes in the pre-heated oven until they are crispy.
After the malpuas are baked, dip them in the sugar syrup and let them sit for a minute.
Now garnish them with chopped nuts and saffron.
