Made with wholesome ingredients and no refined sugar, these laddus are perfect for health-conscious individuals who don’t want to compromise on taste or tradition. From kids to elders, everyone loves the soft, nutty flavour of healthy Gond ke Laddu. This version uses Sugar Free Natura as a sweetener, helping you cut down on the added sugar calories without skipping festive flavours. Plus, it’s rich in energy-boosting ingredients like gond (edible gum), coconut, and dry fruits — making it a perfect offering (prasad) and a nourishing snack!
In a pan fry the gond with ghee. Keep the flame low and fry until the gond puffs up. Keep it aside.
Crush the gond using a rolling pin.
In the remaining ghee, sauté the chopped cashews, almonds, and raisins until they turn golden brown. Then, transfer them to the bowl with the crushed gond.
In the same pan, dry roast the grated coconut over low flame until aromatic and lightly golden. Add it to the same bowl.
Roast the poppy seeds until they crackle. Transfer to the same bowl.
Add cardamom and nutmeg powder to the roasted ingredients. Mix well.
In a pan, heat ½ hot water and add Sugar Free Natura. Mix well.
Add the sugar syrup to the dry mixture and mix thoroughly.
Grease your palms with ghee and start shaping the mixture into round laddus.
Enjoy healthy Sugar Free Gond ke Laddu!
