But with the right recipes and conscious ingredients, you can enjoy the sweets without any compromise! This sugar free gulab jamun recipe is a classic example for Diwali dessert recipes. The soft, spongy dessert is made without refined sugar. This recipe uses Sugar Free Natura Diet Sugar to make the syrup to add the perfect level of sweetness minus the empty calories. Whether you’re diabetic, health-conscious, or simply exploring smart alternatives, this sugar free gulab jamun recipe promises the same traditional taste with a modern, healthy twist.
Take milk powder, all purpose flour, oil, and baking soda and knead the ingredients by adding water slowly. Ensure that you simply mix the ingredients and the dough should not be too soft or too tight.
Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
For sugar syrup, mix Sugar Free Natura Diet Sugar with water and cornflour. Ensure that it is lump-free.
Boil the syrup and mix rose water, lemon water, cardamom powder and a few strands of saffron in it. Keep it aside.
Shape the dough into golf-sized balls. Fry them on medium to low flame. Do not stir the balls until they start floating on the oil and turn brown.
Take them out from the oil and transfer to the already prepared sugar syrup.
Garnish with nuts and your Gulab Jamuns without sugar are ready to serve.
