FusionNothing defines a nice Sunday brunch better than the warm, toasty, sweet aroma of freshly made waffles! That’s exactly what Chef Sanjeev Kapoor had in mind this week as he whipped up this crispy, sweet delight to kick off your Sunday morning with a bang. And for those of you who’re looking to stay on course with their diet plan on the weekend as well, you’ll be happy to know that this recipe calls for ABSOLUTELY NO SUGAR! That’s because this recipe is sweetened by Sugar Free Green – a sweetener made from 100% Natural Stevia Leaves!
Sift refined flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
Heat a nonstick pan. Add pineapple, 10 measures Sugar Free green, ¼ cup water and cinnamon and mix well.
Add oats to refined flour mixture. Add melted butter, buttermilk, vanilla extract, remaining Sugar Free Green and mix well to form a smooth batter.
Heat a waffle maker, grease with butter and pour the prepared batter. Close and cook for 6-8 minutes.
Transfer in a plate, top up with stewed pineapple, garnish with mint sprig and serve.
