SweetMade with only two prime ingredients, khoya and unsweetened cocoa powder, this is an easy sweet to prepare for Rakhi. These barfis, sweetened with Sugar Free Natura, are low in calorie content, decadent in flavour and thus suitable for those who avoid added sugar consumption. Typically, made during Raksha Bandhan, this Sugar Free chocolate barfi recipe is perfect to celebrate the Indian festivals and to feed our loved ones. Let’s try this recipe!
Cook the full fat milk until it reduces to khoya consistency.
In a small bowl mix cocoa powder with milk. Add it to the khoya. Cook and mix until the khoya turns dark.
Mix Sugar Free Natura into the mixture. (Use it in a 1:1 ratio in place of sugar)
Add desi ghee and cook for 10 minutes.
Remove it from the heat. Spread it on a plate in a large rectangle shape and freeze it.
Once it sets, cut it into small barfi shapes, garnish with chopped nuts and enjoy!
