IndianRagi Kheer is a wholesome and nutritious Indian dessert made with finger millet, also known as ragi, milk, Sugar Free Green Powder, and an assortment of flavorful spices and garnishes. The earthy richness of ragi, paired with creamy milk and the sweetness of Sugar Free Green, makes this dessert not only satisfying but also a healthier alternative to traditional sweets. A delightful mix of nuts and a hint of green cardamom elevate its flavor, while dried rose petals add a touch of elegance. Simple to make and rewarding to serve, Ragi Kheer is a dessert that brings indulgence without the added sugar.
Take ragi in a bowl, add water and wash it once, add ½ cup water and let it soak for 6-8 hours.
Drain the ragi and put into a blender jar and blend to a coarse paste.
Bring milk to a boil in a deep pan.
Add the blended paste, mix and cook for 16-20 minutes or till the ragi is cooked completely. Stirring the mixture occasionally.
Add Sugar Free Green Powder, mix and cook till it melts. Add green cardamom powder and mixed nuts and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Serve hot garnished with mixed nuts and dried rose petals.
