  • ½ cup ghee
  • 1½ cup wheat rava (Daliya)
  • 4 cup hot water
  • 1½ cup Stevia based sweetener or Sugar Free Green
  • ½ tsp saffron strands
  • ½ tsp food colour
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp cashew, chopped
  • 2 tbsp pistachios, chopped
  • 2 tbsp melon seeds

  • Roast the wheat rava properly to prevent it from sticking.
  • To shape the laddus you can also use a cup or bowl.

Method

  • Heat ghee in a large heavy-bottomed pan and add wheat rava in it to roast.
  • Roast well until the wheat rava turns golden.
  • Now, add hot water while stirring. Mix well.
  • Add saffron strands and the food colour and mix until wheat rava absorbs all the water.
  • Add Sugar Free Green (or any other stevia based sweetener) and mix well.
  • Cover the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • If the mixture starts to separate the pan, it is ready.
  • Cover and let it cool slightly.
  • Now add cardamom powder, cashews, pistachios and melon seeds.
  • Start shaping the laddus by rolling them in between your palms. Remember to grease them with ghee to make the process easy!
