Step-by-Step Instructions to make Choco Lava Cake

Step 1

Heat water in a nonstick pan. Mix chocolate and butter in a bowl and place on the pan. Allow to melt.

Step 2

Break eggs in a bowl. Add vanilla extract, Sugar Free Green and mix well.

Step 3

Add cocoa powder to the chocolate mixture and mix well.

Step 4

Add this to the egg mixture, sift refined flour, baking powder and salt, milk and mix well.

Step 5

Transfer the mixture into individual silicon moulds and bake for 6 minutes.

Step 6

Demould, dust cocoa powder and serve.

Cooking Tips

  • Bake the lava cakes for 6-7 minutes, but keep a close watch. The outer layer should be set while the inside remains gooey. Overbaking will eliminate the molten center.
  • Grease the silicone moulds with butter or dust with cocoa powder to prevent sticking, making demoulding easier.
