  • ¼ Cup Rice soaked for 1 hour
  • 1 litre Milk
  • ½ tsp Cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped Dry dates
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  • 2 tbsp chopped Almonds
  • 1 tbsp Melon seeds
  • 9 measured tsp of Sugar Free Natura Powder
  • 1 tsp Kewra water
  • For garnishing sliced almonds and dried rose petals

Cooking tips

  • Soak the rice for atleast an hour to make perfect kheer.
  • Use full fat milk to make the kheer creamy.

Method

Sugar Free Rice Kheer Recipe: A Step-by-Step Guide

  • Crush soaked rice coarsely in a mortar and pestle.
  • Add milk in a heavy bottomed pan & bring it to boil.
  • Add crushed rice, mix well & cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Now, add cardamom powder, dry dates, raisins, almonds and melon seeds, mix well & bring it to boil. Cover it partially & cook on low flame until 40% milk is reduced (25-30 minutes) then mash well to desired consistency with the help of wooden masher.
  • Add Sugar Free Natura powder, kewra water and mix well.
  • Garnish with almonds, dried rose petals & serve.
